Merging Duplicate Contact Records Select View Duplicates Open each record listed and confirm they are duplicates. Note: I like to do this by right-clicking on the names and selecting "open link in new tab" but you do not have to use this method Once you have confirmed they are duplicates check the box by each duplicate and select next. Go through the list of fields and select the most current information for each section by clicking the circle next to it. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see all fields before selecting next. It will ask you to confirm the merge. Select Merge. You will have to close this box for it to go away after the merge.
